Pop up or trailer

My wife and I have been kicking around the idea of one.

I have looked a lot of different ones. For what they want one, you
can put down on a nice house. I also said the same thing about my truck.

I have a tents and all that gear, but some times a AC on on a hot Texas night would be nice.

So any pro's or con's on both would be helpfull.

I have camped with a friend who had one. Not only the AC in the summer, but the heat in the winter is great. Having the convenience of an inside table to sit down to eat is a plus, as is the fact that you can store a lot of equipment and supplies in the trailer so that you don't have to gather and pack so much each time you head out. Time to set up a pop-up campsite is about the same as for a tent.

Look around, check the want ads. You should be able to find a good used one for less.

The pop up tent trailers are nice.

You can a good deal on some of the older ones. Bought my 1979 Starcraft for $800 cash.

Heater for the cold nights, propane and a nice stove for meals, sleeps 8 adults if you use the floor, and can be towed by most larger minivan SUVs. Only 1300 pounds loaded up.
