Purchased my first SNS.

Well, curiosity got the best of me. I was out of the area today and stopped in a shop I was never in before. I saw a couple Jeminez JA Nines brand new in the case. Its not something I ever see around my area and have always been curious about these things. Jimenez is the latest incarnation of Jennings/Bryco. Whether or not this pot metal will hold up to the 9mm round, remains to be seen. As long as it doesn't do me any bodily harm, I'm not worried about it. It was under $170 OTD. I sometimes spend more than that in ammo for a range trip.

I have a big handgun collection, but no true SNSs until now. Curiosity killed the cat. :supergrin:

Anyway, wish me luck.

I've got a Jimenez .380. After getting the factory to ship me out replacement parts for those that fell off within the first 100 rounds and doing some gunsmithing work as described in an article I found on the internet it really isn't a bad little gun.

I take it out and fire it every now and then. Even with the mods, this isn't the type of gun you take to the range and put a thousand rounds through once a week (like any of my Glocks...)
