Have Remingon 870 with Rubber recoil pad build into stock. Issue is that when I practice my quick presentation the rubber rubs/friction slightling with clothing raising into shoulder pocket. Has anyone else experience this sample but annoying slow down? I've resorted to raising it up to height and then pulling back into shoulder pocket.:sigh:

Snap it out away from you slightly and pull it back into place.

A fine file on the edges of the pad can help "dull" down the rubber grippiness a bit from what I understand. Haven't had that problem myself, but have read of others doing it.

Also, reshaping the top of the pad can keep it from really digging into your clothing.
