HI FOLKS

FIRST POST HERE BUT LONG TIME LOOKING AROUND

I want to know more details as:

1- wide/tall of the DAWSON front sight
2-the rear sight is described as .156 wide and .120 deep notch,but will like to know the requirement(height) for pairing another front sight in case I dont like the DAWSON.

I sent a mail to HEINIE looking for more info but no reply yet (maybe need more time).:wavey:
I own a GLOCK 17 not for carry but for some IPSC and other shooting.
Have 53 y.o. 2.50 correction for close sight (reading) and a good distance sight.
please do not hesitate to advise me on other sight set that fulfill my needs.

I wouldn't order anything directly from Heinie. I made that mistake two months ago when I ordered a set of slant pro's, which I have not yet received. Their only response has been that they are in production.

Anyway, in the mean time I have ordered three sets from Matt at Custom Glock Racing so I can change out my current set ups. I am going to all black slant pro sight sets with CGR race cut rear and getting away from the standard rear Heinie with Dawsom f.o. front. This set up seems to be much faster for me personally.

They have lots of different target/competition sights and carry sights. Check them out. Fast and reliable service, providing they are in stock (ie. they already did the waiting on Heinie S.P. for you).
