how long do the batteries really last? im looking at a pretty decent deal on one

Have the N cell model on my patrol M4. Its getting up in age now and will replace it in the near future. That said, I am happy with its performance. The N cells last me about 8-12 months. The cells stay in the unit 24/7 and get turned on appr. twice a week.

If its a good deal, go for it.
