I was attempting to sight in a Glock 34 yesterday at 25 yards. With the rear sight all the way down, the rounds were well higher than point of aim.
Is it possible that the front sight for a Glock 34 differs in height from others, and therefore I could have the wrong height front sight?
Is it possible that Glock designed the sighting for 6 o'clock hold rather than for the front sight to cover the point of impact?

Others have reported difficulty with Glock adjustable sights on a G34.

Thanks for input. It seems there could be an issue, then? I searched the forums for a while to learn of issues, but no luck so far. I wonder if there are any diagnostic measurements I could make? I guess I could have a skilled shooter try it out also. Heinie also mentioned that a few Glock models appear to shoot higher than desired, on that website.

I think part of the situation is that the dot on the front seems to not fit within the U of the rear, and I may have been holding the dot out of the U and not realizing that.
