Someone told me that there are conversion kits available for the Steyr. While I absolutely love this pistol, I'd love one in .357 Sig as well. Why not have both with a conversion? Unfortunately I've never seen one for sale. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Does anyone have one?
Good luck. You won't find one.
.357 sig barrels have a larger diameter than 9mm barrels, so a .357 sig barrel wouldnt fit in the hole on the slide.

If you owned the .40 you could swap the barrel with a .357 SIG and vice versa.
But if you got the 9, that's it.
I once saw an M357 in A1 guise, used at a gun show for about $550. the seller would not budge on the price.
They exist, but are not common at all. The M40-A1 will need to be purchased for the slide diameter and breechfce, I guess, and then the barrel changed out.
I love my Steyrs. Old and new.

I have an M9 so if I get an M40A1 can I put the entire M9 slide on the newer A1 lower and use M9 mags?
