The other day I bought a cordless drill and it has a small little piece in the rear of it that acts like a level.
It has a circle in it both top and rear so that you know if your drilling straight by lining the bubble up in the circle just like a level.

Most of the time when someone misses their target its because they either did not hold the gun straight up or leaned it to one side or the other.

If someone would come out with a rubber grip that housed one of these type level things I can see where it would train the shooter to know the feeling of when he was holding his gun right by keeping the bubble in the circle.

Or does someone already make a grip like I am talking about?

Scope levels already exist and are mounted on a scope so a shooter can prevent canting.

But I mean putting this type of device in a handgun grip.

I don't think it would help. The majority of issues are from flinching while firing. A level is not going to help this. Even if the pistol is canted, it is not going to throw off trajectory enough to make a difference at the range people shoot.

Makes sense on a long distance rifle but probably wouldn't work well on a pistol.

We use them in archery all the time. Max shots for most archers is 40 yards. It can really throw an arrow off, even at 20 yards if you cant.

Archery level....

I think the biggest reason people miss with their handgun is because they do not keep their eye focused on the front sight. A level on the grip ain't going to fix that.

You could just watch the sights when the shot breaks... novel idea eh?
