I recently had the chance to compare a 20# Wolff recoil spring and steel guide rod to the stock Glock spring in my G-32 and would like to know if anyone else has had the same impression.
My impression is that the power of the recoil is the same with both, but with the Wolff spring there's noticeably less muzzle flip. I have swapped the stock Glock spring for the Wolff.
Is there any advantage or disadvantage in having a captured recoil spring rather than a non-captured one like the Wolff?
