I'm looking to get a rail mounted light for my nightstand gun Glock 17 (Also keep in mind that it is OD Green which makes it inherently better than almost all other guns. ;)). I'm looking at the Surefire X300, Surefire X200, Streamlight TL1, and Streamlight TL2.

Do those of you with then TL2 like and use the laser? I'm thinking about picking up a lasermax if I get a rail mounted light only.

On the Surefires, what are the main differences between the x200 and the x300? Is it just output?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Joe

x300 has a better battery life and brighter light. the x200a and x200b have different focuses (one tight and one wide), the x300 is a compromise b/t the two. I have an x300 and love it!

You might try the new Insight Procyon 125 lumen led light. I have all the Surefire weapon lights and I like the procyon best. Strobe feature is really nice.

I have been thinking about buying a TLR-2 you can buy it from a web site, under google shopping for around 200 dollars.

I use the TLR-1.

For a laser, I have the Crimson Trace Handgrip.

I chhose that set-up so I always have my laser on the gun when I carry it. I only have the light on it at night at home.

Same here.

My TLR1 has about 600rounds of 45acp from a few different guns on it and a hundred or so from my 9mm without any issues.

Modes for light, laser or light and laser. Momentary or constant as well, of course.
