I did a search but didn't find anything useful.

Does anybody know of any good archery ranges near Lexington?

Thanks in advance.

I'd bet that the guys at Classic Arms & Archery on Southland could steer you straight.

Wow, I just read everything I could find around here on the BGSL and it doesn't sound like a pretty picture!! Can someone here give me an update and some insight on whether the situation is improving and/or stabilizing down there?

The guys at Classic Arms and Archery said they didn't know of any ranges other than BGSL.

Any other ideas?

Damn, I'm starting to feel like I moved to a yankee city!!!!!!

The situation at BGSL is improving every week.
As for archery, there has been no impact on that division from the range problems. They continue as usual.

What type of archery you looking for...spots or 3-D?

Either/both -- not too picky.

Thanks folks!

Well if you want to head that far away, there is the Mercer County Fish and Game club on Whites Lane off of US68. I was a member for a while and my dad was a member there for 8 or 9 years before he started going to the Boyle Co. Fish and Game club (better pistol range).

Thanks Jim.

Also I just remembered that the Boyle Co. Fish and Game club has a larger archery club that has matches there. Kentucky Head Hunters or something like that. If you get a hold of some of the members there or go to classic arms & archery they should be able to tell you more.
