I sold my G26, which I loved, to buy another pistol for CCW that I thought I just had to have. Now I wish I would have kept my G26. As nice as my new one is, I just like the Glock better. I'm a miserable failure :crying:

Done. If you had bought an XD or MP it would have been your family jewels, but since you bought another glock, just the hind quarters. :)

Consider yourself "kicked"!!! :okie:

I did the same thing and sold a G26 a few months ago... but recently bought it back.

Don't worry... you'll eventually get another one. :whistling:

Nowhere did he say he bought another GLOCK...where'd you get that?

Simple rule: Never sell any of your guns. Ever.

If I need extra cash, I turn tricks down at the bus station.

Savin' up for an AK and I think I just saw Larry Craig. Gotta go!

Sell the new one and buy another G26.

It's bad enough having to sell a gun, even worse when you have to buy the same one again. Ah, heck! It's only money. When the SHTF that green stuff won't be worth squat!

It's obvious because he's still coherent enough to be posting on GlockTalk. If he had traded for a non-glock, he would be too stricken with remorse and self-loathing.

In a moment of weakness I traded off my Glock 27 last year. I went out and bought another one weeks later. All is well now.

I trade in my G17 for a G22 about 10 yrs ago and regreted it. So this past June purchased another G17 for IDPA.

I am now on my third G23 for the same reason.I just had to have an XD45.Got it, didn't like it,sold it and bought another 23.
So, sell or trade whatever you bought and get another Glock !

I agree with Thebes. Never sell guns. I have guns I bought over 30 years ago. Some are retired, but they always make me smile when I go through them, and some of them still get fired every few years whether they need it or not. Seems that the reason I bought them always resurfaces at some point in time and I am glad I have them. All they cost me is a little time to keep them cleaned and oiled.

It wasn't another Glock. It was a S&W SW99c. The sad part is, I really like it, it is very "Glock-like" in many ways, but after playing with it, I just like the G26 more. I've actually decided I'm going to switch to my G19 for CCW, so now I'm in the process of seeing if I can trade it. I've gotten used to pocked carry and the G26 was real handy for that (this is too, but I still like the Glock better). If I can't get another G26, I'm aiming for a 2nd gen G23 or 22. I fondled a 2nd gen G22 at the gunshow yesterday and have decided I must have one

Don't come crying to us... You will learn. Watch - you will go to replace your old long gone G26 and you WILL PAY MORE!

Just the way it works...

Don't sell your guns. You bought each one for a reason...

Now you know, and you will pay for it...

Go ahead, ask me how I learned this very important lesson.

Yes, you want to be one of my children... (grin)

Go now, and sin no more...

I aint getting onto to you or anything ,but I almost got a S&W M&P 45 but after some good research and studying , I decided on the G21SF . S&W has a lot of flaws including rust , stupid I.L.S.'s (key locks) , Magazine safety's , and other crap I cant recall at this time . i say sell it and get the Glock you sold back or one like it . I am a Glock fan and have owned 2 S&W's , a S&W Airweight .38 SPL revolver and a S&W model 915 9mm semi-auto . Liked em both but the newer ones just suck!
