View Full Version : What do you guys think of this? majicman 08-17-2008, 00:13 http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=4514 Half Lid 08-17-2008, 00:22 Weird looking but pretty unique. bryceban 08-17-2008, 00:29 goofy perado 08-17-2008, 00:39 Those have been around for years. I believe the first ones were built to use 1911 frames, but Glock framed versions are not new. bac1023 08-17-2008, 00:49 :puking: Bruce Foreman 08-17-2008, 00:54 A friend of mine bought one. Had a scope on it and I got to play with it quite a bit. I actually came pretty close to getting one myself. It actually works very well and is very accurate. Function was just as reliable as the Glock itself and we even used a 33 round mag with it. bryceban 08-17-2008, 01:04 Being able to use glock mags is the nicest thing about it. Around here you can buy used Hi-Point 9mm and .40 carbines for $125-$150 but the 10 round Hi-Point mags aren't as nice as using glock mags. Habu 08-17-2008, 02:45 Not worth the price. I rather just get ANOTHER GUN. WUSSCVR 08-17-2008, 03:49 I like the idea and am thinking about getting one. I have no need for a high power rifle but a carbine would be perfect. I mean it would make a pretty good SHTF gun to go along with G35 and G23. GMAN40 08-17-2008, 06:53 The general concept is cool, but this unit looks pretty Cheezy especially the stock. Pierre! 08-17-2008, 08:31 Best part about it.... Own a rifle that isn't on an FFL form... think about it... novan3 08-17-2008, 08:51 Pretty cool! But where's the iPod jack?? dsmw5142 08-17-2008, 10:14 That is some goofy crapola right there.... if you want to use Glock mags in a carbine, for less money, buy a Kel-Tec carbine. I don't love the kel-tec, but it is better than that freak show. akgunnut 08-17-2008, 10:19 Maybe if they make it a collapsible stock, or a solid synthetic stock, it would look better. mrnuke7571 08-17-2008, 10:19 I have one and it's great. It takes 15 seconds to convert your pistol to a carbine, is comfortable to shoot, has less recoil than the CX4/Hipoint 995 and Keltec carbines AND you don't need to get another firearm registered. Accurate, and fun. You can mix and match calibers also with it as long as the frame type supports it. (9mm/357sig/40sw on a glock 17/19, 45acp/10mm on a 20/21) I will try it with my glock 38 frame, but not sure if the ejector would work with the 9mm carbine upper. I used to carry a Glock 19c and had this in the trunk of the car in a flat lock-box with 2x 33round mags loaded if EVER I'd need mroe firepower than my 19. Here's a vid of it at the range a few weeks ago. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4878382335987051436&ei=vEGoSIP-NYje4AKj3_T6Cg&q=glock+carbine&vt=lf The base model's rear stock is FUGLy, but it is functional. You can get an AR type stock for it, or just mount a different folding/fixed stock to it. I've seen someone mount an uzi collapsable stock to it and it looked great. Darkangel1846 08-17-2008, 12:53 They are heavy, and my 1911 model is not overly accurate. But they are rugged. They cost a lot more now then they did 8 or 10 years ago.
