I hear one guy (Mr A) telling another guy (Mr B) (in very reverential tones) about ANOTHER guy (Mr. G) who is alleged to own A LOT of Glock pistol.
Apparently, guy A heard from other guy (Mr C) that he (Mr C) met the Glock guy at the range, and that the guy could really shoot, and that SOMEHOW, in NY state, the Glock guy managed to own over 20 odd Glocks.
My question to you: What kind of sick, deficient person goes out and owns 20 odd Glocks? What's 20 gonna do that FIVE can't do????
I just don't get it....

He has 20 Glocks because . . . he can! I can understand. I am a collector myself, just not of Glocks. Though, I wouldn't turn 20 Glocks down if offered to me.
I know of a guy in NY who has more than 20 Glocks. :wavey:

I only have 11, down from 14, one for every pair of underwear I don't own (I go commando). Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Survey Says! Hey wait a minute, YOU'RE Mr. G!
Go ahead and post a "sick and deficient" photo, Drew. We'll count the evidence.

Nice Drew, very nice!
Looking at the picture I see some "c" models. Will you post your burnt skin and eyebrows next?
I counted 19 Glocks and 1 AR in the top pic and 37 Glocks n the bottom pic. Are any of these duplicates between the 2 pics or is that actually how many you have? I'm also curious how you have them organized in the bottom pic, in sequential # or caliber or what?
Anyways you have a very nice collection. Something for us to be jealous and envious about. I need to save those pics so the next time my wife asks me why I need another Glock I can tell her it's Drew's fault.

While GSD17 obviously new the identity of the deeply disturbed Mr. G, I said it first. Do I get to select one of your Glocks as a prize? PM me for an FFL to send it to. I need a G35, btw. You'll never miss it.

That was how many he had before his boat sank last summer ;)
now you only have one left, right Drew??
please.... report mr g immediately!!! confiscate all glocks, i will pick them up personally and keep a close watch on them until they die!!!
Common guys. The guy only owns a Glock 20. Not 20 Glocks.
I have a Glock 33. I have him beat. :tongueout::tongueout:

Yes, it is a cheap $12 shoe rack from Wally World / Home Depot. I put the rack in the safe as is - viola! Gun storage issues solved...:)
To answer an earlier question: 35 Glocks total, two different pictures.
Well 35 last time I checked :tbo:

Drew, you need to slow down a bit. I have 20, with a 2nd gen 19 to be picked up from the shop on Monday (275 OTD by the way) and a face to face purchase of a 3rd gen G22, 5 hi caps, night sights and a 357sig replacement barrel ($400). I am also trying to contact a former forensics investigator to see if she wants to sell her 2nd gen 17L since she isn't "on the job" anymore and she isn't a "gun person". She only had the gun because needed it for work.
If you buy one every time I buy one, I will never catch you. :steamed::whistling:

Not counting SF models, and the .380's that you can't easily get in the states, Glock has 27 different pistols.
I mean, after about 30, you've got some duplication in case a pistol needs to be repaired, but I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Not only is there nothing wrong with it, it is smart for the guns you plan to carry and train with.

Hi Mick,
I do have a G21 (3rd gen, not SF) with Tru Glo's on em. I got em with the gun. They work great. I don't CCW a G21, so I can't give you a TRUE evaluation on using it at night, etc. I gotta tell you though, at the range, they are pretty bright.
PA Gunner, if you count 37 on the shelf, I probably have forty by now, or by the time I pick up a G23C & G32C + the G30SF (already have the G21SF), I will definately be over 40. I have not bought a handgun since January 2007 - and all of those were purchased in '06 and picked up from my FFL in 07.
For all of 2007 and 2008, my gun dollars went straight to training and certifications. Now that the year is winding down, I'll take advantage of a couple of "coupons" ;) I have to get those above mentioned three guns.
Also looking to get a GSG-22 (22lr MP5 lookalike rifle) so I can do some rifle training at the range, and I will probably pick up the MP5 airsoft the next time I go to the faaaaar east, so I can run drills with that in my basement.
I am very dissapointed! I came here looking for help in overcoming my terrible, terrible addiction, and now ya'll got me cranked up on buying more Glocks! :whistling::whistling:

Hi PA Gunner..
Naw, Glocks have been following me home since...1997. From Nov-Dec 06 I bought 5 or 6, plus maybe 3 or 4 Sigs, and a revolver or two.
I was busy, so I did not get going over to my FFL until late Jan or early Feb.
I'm certain there was some amount of head scratching going on then at the ATF !

You know it reminds me of when my mother-in-law asked my father-in-law why he need another gun that he was buying at the time. His reply,"To keep all the other ones company...."
That's what I keep telling my wife, and somehow she seems to understand. Especially when she recently told me I could have $500 to buy whatever I want. Well, tomorrow I'm bringing home a G19. i need a new safe too. What a dilemma
Way to go, Drew.

Nice collection Drew! How do the guns hang on the shoe racks in the safe? Am I missing something, but I'm assuming you have that rack mounted vertically and they hang there right? What's the secret attachment point?

Thank you.
The guns just rest between the rails from the shoe rack. The underside of the frame at the muzzle and the base of the frame at the magwell sit on the "floor" of the safe. In most circumstances, the area of the frame at / near the trigger guard rests on the painted metal of the shoe rack. It is rare for the metal of the slide to touch any part of the shoe rack.
I've also resorted to placing the guns in socks my toddlers no longer need. Also great for when I go to the range, I just put a few guns in a gun bag/case, and never have to worry about them being dinged up.

Just out of curiosity, how many mags do you have between all of them?
NYC Drew
08-18-2008, 22:55
Just out of curiosity, how many mags do you have between all of them?
WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT??????
I have over 30 (yes 30) pre ban, fully metal lined 17rd mags (9mm)... probably 10-20 in G19 (pre ban, fully metal lined, 15rd) I also have about fifty G37/38/39 mags.
A conservative estimate of mags would be around 230 or so for all Glocks.
If I include the NFML mags, it would have to be damn near 340.
I suspect the next question will be about ammo.
1. Yes, and no. I do reload, but have not done so in 3 or so years.
2. In 2004, I saw the writing on the wall (copper prices, legislation etc). I started hoarding/buying ammo. For the next two years, I let A LOT of SWEET gun deals go by, so I could get ammo.
I am still shooting that ammo, admittedly, I had to slow down, because once I became a (very) proficient target shooter, it takes less ammo to refine the skills. I am certain I have over 8k rounds of WWB or better .45ACP ammo, 12k rounds of .40, 5k rounds of .357SIG, 4k /10mm, 8k/9mm etc etc. Plus, I am certain I have 1k of premium SD ammo for each glock caliber I own.
Of course, it's hard to actually tabulate this stuff. The tinfoil wearer in me does not allow me to keep everything in one location....:tbo:, so I have guns and ammo and mags spead out in four locations across three states on both sides of the continent, and as far north/south as you can go
The ammo I mentioned is a quick and fast estimate of what is here today. You can full well imagine how much ammo I bought back in '05. I have had hard core shooters step in my bunker are immediately fell SICK  from the sight of ammo...and of course, I talk about my pistol stuff freely, because there is mandatory pistol registration in NY. I hardly ever talk about rifles or rifle ammo...because nobody really needs to know. :whistling:
Hint: In the event of a zombie invasion, head to one of those four places!
To be honest, I almost BANKRUPTED :) *(ok, I'm lying, it just felt that way) myself buying the ammo. But today when I see .45ACP for $15-17 a box, and look at the 9k I paid $7.35/50 delivered to my door...I wish I had bought 4-10x as much!
Yes, I collect my brass...pretty soon I will need to start cleaning more of what I have, and pretty soon I will need to rent a storage space (concrete floor) to keep all this brass.
'Drew
* - The truth is, I had no other interests for a 3 yr span while I was soaking up guns. So all of my disposable income, 100% of it, went directly into guns, ammo & to a lesser extent, training.
I spent my tax rebate check on ammo. Unfortunately at todays prices it didn't add up to much. Only a couple hundred rounds left.:crying:
