here you go...once in a while if i'm wearing my 5.11 taclite pants and i holster it in a hurry, the barrel gets caught under the stupid (pointless IMHO) strap above the pocket....but then again, even before i had the extended barrel, sometimes the business end of the gun would catch it anyway upon insertion....absolutely no problems with drawing it of course or else i wouldn't be using the holster...

I picked this up yesterday, and really like it. It looks to be one of their combat builds from the early 90s. The serial number is BRTxxx, and I wasn't able to find that in the list. I'll have to give Glock a call and see how old it is.

Either a shooting is justified, or it isn't.

The world is plagued with attorneys that make mountains out of molehills. It wouldn't suprise me in the slightest if some lawyer makes a big deal out of the skulls, claiming that the accused has violent tendencies (because he chose to decorate the slide with something dark and dreary), and was looking for an excuse to use the pistol to gun down his client, based solely on the appearance alone.

Doubt it would even be an issue if he had decorated it with soft, furry kittens.....

It all depends on what the laws in your state are. People can say anything. Sue you for farting on them in public causing "bodily harm" for damages. Hell it could be inscribed with the words "Cop Killer" and they couldn't do anything. Freedom of speech. You may get dirty looks, but you cannot be jailed for customizing a weapon to your liking... So please people stop posting about this. A lawful shoot in self defense is a lawful shoot.

It's a shiny dark greyish finish. Came from glock factory like that. People always said the gen4 are matte black, but when I first got mine it looked a little different. I thought it was pretty cool.

I use this 17 in various matches and training, no issues yet. I knew going in that it may mark up with heavy use, dont really care that much to be honest. They've already out for a while.

You can get them from TangoDown, Brownell's, NETTAC, all over the place.

They come in a set of 5 (because Vicker's says everyone should have at least 5 good mags for their pistol), and price is under $20.

Not exactly. I gave Rob the pics for the release. I designed the prototype and worked with LAV to bring them to market (LAV did an outstanding job of taking the prototype to the next level).

It probably took my BM 710's place as my favorite knife so far. I love everything about it.

G23 is also awesome, not a single mishap in over 2k rounds. I shoot mostly the "crappy" Federal 180gr from Walmart, not a single hitch.

It's spot on for the match, just doesn't look it on my gun because the stippling I did darkened the color. I was and am very impressed with the vickers parts.

Every two or three years, Glock Talk has a contest. Thousands of dollars of prizes are offered from expensive rifles and handguns to smaller prizes. To enter, tickets are sold for $10 apiece. Buy as many tickets as you want. Contests last for a few weeks then winners are announced. First time after joining forum, I got nothing. Last contest, I won this Spyderco Endura with the Glocktalk.com on it. I own lots of other Spyderco knives, and this one fit right in.

I noticed all the LGS's in my area had a new run of NIB-X's... I went to go buy this 19 and I about sh@! when I saw USA on the slide. Haven't shot it yet, but I will post a review... It has the non dipped extractor and the 336 ejector.

It will be a little while before I want to spend the money anyway. I have purchased new guns in the past from one of the biggest distributors in the state so I'll probably start looking there first when I'm ready.

My Glocks came from Ed's but if it's a blue label gun, I'm not going to be able to buy one for now... :yawn:

:wavey:It is, thanks for the remark. Actually I meant "sell" them in the country, meaning that we supply Iraq with handguns and I read somewhere that they could be US made Glocks. Before I found more info about it last night, I thought that these are small numbers of guns from such supply that was sold to LEO or some military people and will not go for sell everywhere in US.

Added the new smooth GripForce Adapter to my G19 to stave off slide bite. Took it to the range and put some rounds down it. I changes the feel of the recoil of the gun, not better or worse, just different. It does protect my hand well and I find my grip from the draw is very consistent even at speed.
