back in the 90's i bought 2 B&L scopes, i was trying to get the most scope for my money. to say i was pleased would be a great understatment. the elite 4200 6x24 is wicked clear and very repeatable, the best target scope i've ever owned. my elite 3000 2x7 is also very clear and tough as nails. this scope has been on a bunch of guns over the years, and has seen 100's of shotgun slugs and muzzeloader slugs. plus it rode on a couple of AR's and 30-06's.
now over the years the only scope that i have ever had a problem with was a you guessed it a bushnell. it was a cheapy but it turned me off on bushnells.
well it's time for a new hunting scope and i'd like to get one of the 3200 2x7 with the Firefly crosshairs. but as hard as i try the bushnell name throws me. i've heard that the scope are still made with the same machines as before and that they are just as good maybe even better. has anyone used them lately and what do you think?
P.S. i know there are plenty of other great scopes out there. and i would not have a problem useing any of them. but the firefly is only lighted cross hair i would ever want. and i'd like to stay with the elite scopes
