Sanded the finger grooves off the frame, performed a twenty-five cent trigger job, and installed a Hogue, Handall in addition to a Pierce PG-19 grip enhancement. I am very pleased with the setup. The PG-19 provides just enough added room for my pinky finger. The Hogue grip significantly reduces felt recoil and since I removed the finger grooves from the frame, I can position the finger grooves on the Hogue, Handall for a perfect fit. I was amazed with with the difference the twenty-five cent trigger job made. The trigger is considerably smoother. The best part about all this (being relatively new to firearms) is that I got to sit down and do all the work myself. I got a real sense of pride from it. I just couldn't be more impressed with Glock firearms.
Bravo. Wish I can get off my lazy butts and get some of those things done on my Glocks.
Any pictures of the work?

The pictures are forthcoming. All I have is a cell phone to take pictures at the moment. I am going to grab a camera from work tomorrow and I will post pictures tomorrow evening.

multiball,
You've inspired me. Did you use a Dremel tool?
That is absolutely incredible! How on earth did you do that?!

Thank you all so much. Compliments from GT'ers carry a lot of weight. It seems that they don't impress easily so it means a lot to me. I am in the process of writing the complete procedure. If anybody is interested PM me and I will send it to you.

very nice work on the 19! i would be interested in how you did that?
Thank goodness you didn't stipple it (my bias, I know). That is a beautiful job of removing the finger bumps. Well done!
Seriously, if you could make no small amount of extra cash offering that service to Glock owners who despise their bumps. With practice, what's the shortest amount of time you think doing that would take without sacrificing quality?
