Hello All -
I'm new to this site, and somewhat new to Glock (got my first one in April G21 SF) and I had a question about night sights.
First let me start off with that my G21 is primarily a home defense weapon and I only occasionally compete with it. I currently have the Ameriglo Pro Operator night sights on the pistol which have worked great so far, but I was thinking about mixing it up a little bit.
My girlfriend has TFO's on her 19, and while I like them, I'm not crazy about the 3 green dots as I find it difficult to focus on the front one when all the colors are the same. The reason I like the Ameriglo's so much is that the rear sights are basically two posts with two small yellow tritium vials in them, so in the day light they basically are just black and at night they glow bright yellow. What I don't like about the front sight is that sometimes the white ring gets dirty after I shoot about 100 rounds or so through the weapon.
I was thinking about putting a TFO front on the weapon and keeping the Ameriglo Pro Operators on the rear. I was curious if anyone had tried something like this before or if anyone knew if there would be an issue with mixing the sights up like that as far as everything lining up correctly.
Any input would be great.
Thanks,
Bryan
