Finally got my plastic (CHL) and am looking for a good holster for concealed carry for my G36 inside waist band preferrably. Any recommendation will be appreciated. Thanks.
It all depends on what you want to spend...you can go from real cheap to the sky's the limit. A holster I like is the Don Hume 715. It can be had with or without a thumb break, and they only run about $30-$35. Best quality I've seen for the price. Another one that I really, really like is one that I picked up a couple of days ago. It's a Desantis "Dual Carry" I got for my G19. It's leather with a thumb break, has a super strong steel clip (I had to fight to get it on) on the right side for IWB carry, and it has a leather loop on the left side for belt carry. Neat holster, and it was $31.
If you want to spend a little more, I like High Noon Holsters. They have everything from basic to really, really nice. The quality is all the same, just different features.
Asking about holsters is like asking about cars...everyone has their favorite. When it's all said and done, you'll probably try two or three before you find one you really like.

M-Tac or C-Tac by Comp-Tac are really, really, really good IWB holsters. You can save a bit of money and get a Comp-Tac Spartan, which probably works just as well as an M-Tac but is probably a bit less comfortable.
Might want to poke around in the Carry Issues forum. This question comes up a lot. :)
My M-t.a.c. and C-t.a.c. are the best holsters I've found so far.
Please also look at getting a good belt. At first when I saw everyone talking about how great gun belts were I wasn't sure if I believed it or not. After I got one I can tell you that a good belt makes a world or difference.
I suggest an FBI Cant w/straps from www.blade-tech.com

+1... I finally got my mtac a few weeks ago and i love... best iwb i've used... i also asked around about the mtac before buying one and not too many people had anything negative to say!!! but i love mine and hear they have great customer service... rec'd mine in 4 days and had no need to contact cs... everything in working order...
i did think it was a little pricey at first... but now i feel it was $$$$ well spent and would do it again!!!
I've used a CTAC for my G36 for 2+ years now, and other than a little corrosion on the screws, it's doing fine.
If you decide on Comp Tac, get a set of "C" belt clips along with the stock clips. They work great for gun belts and you'll have the regular set as spares in case you break one.

I prefer OWB. (didn't want to buy a new wardrobe) I got a DeSantis http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/desantisholster_2013_276155 Works good for me. I wear it under a loose fitting Denim shirt and/or my Suit Jacket.
Three weeks' wait and $88, absolutely worth it - Custom assembled for a G36 IWB at 8:00. I wear it all the time.

www.miltsparks.com I recommend Watch Six. I have it and love it.
Check out the RM Holsters Low Rider for IWB. I have found it to be the closest thing to mexican carry you can find in a holster.
I have a C-Tac and love the thing. Now for the little note i bought the c-tac for my glock 19 and it fits the 36 like a glove! so now you may want to keep this in mind most good quality holsters (C-Tac my favorite!) that fit the glock 19 & 23 will also fit the glock 36 very well. nothing like having one GOOD HIGH QUALITY holster that fits all my glocks! I have had many but c-tac for IWB and i like others as well as OWB but use them only at the range. my 2 cents.

I use the Bianchi Professional Size 12 Leather holster. I carry a G36 and only wear shorts and tee shirt. Very comfortable!
