G24 barrel in a G 22?

OK in the interest of velocity I am thinking of getting a 6" G4 barrel from Lone Wolf and having Mag na port "slot it". According to thier web site the Mag na port slots have less effect on velocity and loss of night vision than the other huge round holes. Also IMHO this should allow for quicker follow up shots.

what do Y'all think?

A G24 barrel will function in a G22 100%.
