I just took pics of my new G21SF and noticed what looks like a crack just behind the front frame rail. If it is it looks like it is in a beefy area. What do you all think? I would hate to have to send this in already.

Yep, if it affects anything I don't know but its a crack. Esox357.
call glock at (770)432-1202 and tell them what you have and what should you do
Can you run a finger over the affected area? If you can feel a small gap between the two sides then it's a crack, otherwise it might be a mold mark.

Just checked my 21SF, and it has the same mark @ same locations (my marks are smaller), seems like mold marks, cause those line do not exist on the inside polymer, just outside. If it's a crack, wouldn't it be on the inside too ?

Not necessarily. It might not be cracked through yet. Can you post pictures of the marks in your frame?

Damn.. Yeah thats bad. Glock repair time.. Sorry chief.
It looks like a crack to me. My regular 21 developed a crack in the same exact spot except it was much worse than yours.

What did Glock do, replace your frame ? What was the turn around time ?
Passive,
My 21SF crack or mold line looks exactly like MAp, but smaller, hmmm...

I actually sold it to a friend who was aware of the problem. As far as I know it's been sent back to Glock. This was the second 45acp Glock that I had issues with so I just passed it along.
I'd definitely get that back to Glock. If you do send it back, I'd like to know what they say about it. I've seen a lot of Glock pistols, but I've never seen that particular problem before.
that sucks. There's nothing worse than getting something brand new and then finding something wrong with it.
Send the pics to Glock after you get a good point of contact from them. Then let us know what they say. It might just be over molding wearing off, I don't know, they will though.

Or majority of our 21s & 21SFs are cracking at same location :wow:
All I know is mine has been 100% flawless, even shooting angsta style, one handed side ways to try to get it jam, but the 21SF wouldn't have any of that jamming like the 1911s...

Upon further inspection it appears to be a mark, not a crack. you can feel it when you run something over it but I can not get anything into it, and it does not get wider when pressure is applied. Whew! I was really looking forward to shooting it this sunday.

Yeah you're right. I looked at your picture again and at my 21sf and it too has that mark, but when I try to movie it you can tell it's not a crack. It's another 'seam' where looks liek the bonds are just showing through where plastics have been bonded.
I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts missing plastic there.
If it ever tears off it will surely be in the middle of a life & death gunfight. :whistling: Murphy's Law.

Maybe Larry Vickers was wrong! I get sick and tired of hearing this INTERNET lure/Larry Lure Crap. Of course another manufacturer is going to claim their pistol is better and Blah, Blah, Blah. Just Like "Obama's" Blah, Blah, Blah. Those are mold marks. Our PD pistols have them too, just like many of the other Glocks. Larry should stick with His H&K's (who he works for or is sub contracted by). Ask me about H&K's CS. Trying to get parts for our "Duty" MP5's and MP40's was a night mare. A local agency had trouble getting parts for their USP 45 compacts (plus they paid a fortune for them).

mine has the same thing.
I"m not worried.

That's good news, I wish I had been so lucky. I bowed my frame and that line opened up on mine :steamed:
