I have had my G23 for a week now and finished my 4th box of ammo. I dont know the science of bullet weight but my first experience with the 165 vs 180 leans me towards the 180. I bought 2 WWB's (I learned that three letter acronym on this site) one 165 and one 180 and I had more shots on the center of the target with the 180's. The 165's seemed to hit lower on the target. The 165's seemed as accurate but I had to aim above where I wanted them to hit. I did not notice a big difference in recoil. Any opinions on the 165 vs 180 loads?
My wife went with me on the first shooting outage and she seemed to have a little trouble handling the .40 cal. She looked good shooting it (something about girls with guns) but I was wondering if I bought her a Glock would a caliber change help her on the recoil issue. My assumption would be a bigger frame in a smaller caliber, 9 MM with a long barrel so she can be more accurate?
If I can suck her in to my hobbie I get more cool stuff.
