View Full Version : Glock night sight question
Picked up my new Glock 30 yesterday which came with factory night sights.
They're stamped glock on top and have "AF" stamped on the side.
I was under the impression they came with Meprolights. I have nothing with Mep sights to compare them at the moment but the dots seem smaller than the set I had on my previous Glock. They look more like Trijicon. They're fine I'm just curious if anybody knows. Thanks in advance.

I have Glock factory night sights on my new G19. They seem big to me--bigger than Trijicon.

Glock factory night sights have a custom Glock sight frame with meprolight tritium tubes.

They are Meps, the lamps at least. Look at the front ramp on the front sight and it will be stamps MH3. They have a Glock contract. Sights work fine, but I do not prefer that the front sight is still staked on.
The Meps are slightly brighter than my Trijicons, but more "blurry". My Trijicons have a crisp circle, whereas the Meps, because (my guess) they use a white tube to enclose the lamp, are not quite as crisp. Hardly noticable and both are far better than stock plastic sights.
