View Full Version : First time with G30
I put my G30 through 200 FMJ rounds last night. It was an absolute pleasure. I was expecting a lot more recoil than my G26, but the difference was too small to even notice. My accuracy is not quite there yet, compared to the G26; it must be the difference in grip size. Overall, I'm very satisfied. A Crossbreed IWB holster is on the way. Will eventually carry this gun after more rounds through it. Wish .45 ammo was cheaper.

If you got a walmart near by I'd try them. my Local walmarts got CCI Blazer, and Winchester WB. for what I would consider cheap 14.80 for CCI 50 box, and 29.80 for wwb 100 box.

roger that: WWB 100 .45 - cheapest hereabouts - runs fine in my G30

Just got my G30 recently, haven't fired it yet, but I can't wait to! It's good to hear WWBs work well in it. My other pistol (not a GLOCK) didn't like the WWBs at all, so I hadn't even considered using them again! I'm glad GLOCKS are such gluttons, they eat anything! And the G30 is a real beast!
That's one of my favorite things about Glocks...they'll eat whatever you feed them. I haven't had any of mine choke on any ammo.
