I was shopping around and found some mags that say "new 4th generation, no restrictive markings" Are these different? I don't think Glock would change on us now. Anybody know what this means? Thanks.

The ban ended in September 2004, so anything produced after that might be considered a new generation, bit I think folks are referring to new mags that are designed to work with ambi mag releases.
Yes, it refers to the bare metal "notch" on the front of the mag for ambi compatability.
A lot of CTD high cap magazines are LE marked. So usually they make a note of it in the description. The Gen 4 is unrelated to that and refers to, as said before, the ambi mag release notch.
