Tried to use the same name, but I signed up for GT in May, couldn't get in, wrote to the admins several times, no response so finally I just rejoined using a slightly shorter version of the name I use on other boards.

Currently waiting behind oh...I'd say about a thousand others for name change.

I have been around for a long time. I have changed Email addresses, logins, ... over time. I use to go by an account name, then I changed accounts. I used to go by my full name, but found out that was not smart.

Now I found an alias that works in more ways than one.

I didn't keep my ChuckConnors handle from Gunboards and Parralax. ChuckConnors was a little long, but I'm still a big fan of the rifleman.

I don't think I'm registered on any other gun boards, but the internet in general I use different names for different types of stuff. Like there is no way I'd let my myspace or photobucket name be known here lol!

And by the same token, on music forums I go to I'd never in a million years let them come near GlockTalk.

I have a user name I use to use for everything except here, but now I've stopped using it or stopped going to those places, I just use it for a site that I can't change my name on and have a voting rank that I'm not giving up.


It's a PIA having to have more than a few photobuckets. I have one for myspace, one for forums, and one just for this place. Because if someone searches for your user name, and it is your photobucket, your posts on GlockTalk will show up on google.

Then they'd know for sure that "Ralph" who's location is Florida, is the same Ralph that they know, that has a dog/house/car just like the one in the picture, and also happens to use Ralph33333333224sddisfdjl for his email or screen names.

Just how I am lol.
