Both my grandfathers went to college on the GI bill after WWII. I'm not much for government handouts, but this one is an exception. Education is important, and I like how you can choose your own college or university.

Well what do you know, the idiot finally did something right, no doubt he's scrambling for some kind of legacy.

I guarantee... with the exception of a few blacks...
A great majority of service men and vets will vote McCain
AND ... not for the ay-rabb & baby killer.

The legislation is a combination of Sen. McCain and Sen. Webb's bills. It's not a Bush thing at all.
It gives more money for college and also allows vets to give unused benefits to their family members.

About damn time!!! The GI Bill had been reduced in its benefits as the decades gone by. This is the first step back toward the positive. As far as government "handout", this ain't no damn handout. You EARN it with your service and with your own monetary contribution to the coffer.

I agree. I should have chosen my words more carefully.
