G17 or a second G34 w/5.5lb

I have narrowed down my selection to either a G17 base model or a G34 with a 5.5 lb trigger. I already have a G34 with a 3.5 lb trigger which just happens to be the pistol I get the best results with (target wise). Would you get a second 34 w/5.5lb or my first base 17? This pistol will be used for range and also for home defense.:dunno:

I would go with what you shoot the best and are most comfortable with. I just got a G26 but would like to pick up a 17 (17L) or 34 for my nightstand gun/range gun.

I only have a G21 and G17. I would love to have a G34 but it could be a long time before I would have the funds.:crying: I think I'm just going to have to stick with what I got for a long time and just buy ammo.

It's a very practical size pistol.
My G34 is the favorite Glock followed by the G19 and then the G26.
G17 is not used very much as it's too close to the G34.

G17 gets my vote.

For a while I shoot the G22 and G17, tried the G19 and G34 for a while and went back to another G17. At distance G34 slightly better than G17. Up close and personal G19 slightly better than G17. I prefer the G17 for all around use. I still have a G19, G17 and G34 but to carry only one I think I would choose the G17. Only my opinion.
