So someone ripped me off via Paypal.
I paid a stranger $110 on Paypal for an item, but the item hasn't come yet, and it has been several weeks. I questioned this seller several times by email, but now has quit responding to my emails.
Any idea what to do? I just want to get my money back at this point.

try following the terms of the agreement you made when you used paypal. and if you don't KNOW what that is, i recommend you become informed, from the paypal website, or google or both.
and in future, tend your personal finances with a bit more proactive concern. it really helps.
once you know your options, (the which you should find out in a timely manner), you can exercise your judgement to decide if the effort pays you sufficiently to justify it. For 110$ it would, for me.
Timing counts. There are very specific time frames in which you have rights of recovery. it behooves you to know them explicitly.

Go to resolution center in Paypal, file a complaint. Write in your RC email every little detail about your complaint.
Paypal will give a complaint number, and they will get back to you. you will be refunded under you PP account if the complaint is valid.
Be aware that PP takes alot of time, to resolve your issue.

Yea I just tried that, and it says Paypal cannot resolve this dispute. I guess it was almost 8 weeks ago...
I kept delaying action, because the guy said he was trying.
Dammit.

Do you have his address, name, phone number, general state he lived in, transaction details, something?

Pay by credit card? Dispute it with the bank--tell them you never got whatever it was.

How did you fund the paypal? Checking account, credit card, balance where people had sent you?

It was like $110 total.... ~$80 was from my paypal fund, which is essentially like checking, and then ~$30 from a credit card.
I only did it that way because I had about $80 in my Paypal account not transferred to a bank account yet, so I figured I would use it to pay the guy, but it was stupid I guess.

File a complaint anyways.
Use the last email received on this matter from the dirt bag as your date of infraction start time. (Or just send a generic email to paypal not through the complaint system)
File a better business complaint online against PayPal .
Complaint to your state/local lawmakers about unfair/illegal business practices.
Use all avenues of attack including consumerist.com.
They are one of the most read complaint websites on the net. Paypal does read it and if you make enough noise and can get consumerist.com to post it, you will get help quickly.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
