My glock is on its way. This will be my first a G26. This firearm was a police turnin inspected by a glock smith. My brother is a military armor and has had glocks for a while. He can inspect it but I want to know what I should look for myself. If anybody especially one with knowledge of glocks could give me some imput i would appriciate it Thanks
You can send it to Glockmeister for annual inspection $20, or annual inspection with spring replacement for $44.00. Plus you can have them install anything else you want like sites for free.
Look for all three serial numbers to match. You can send it to Glock in Smyrna, GA for a free inspection and free parts replacement, or you can take it to a Florida GSSF (Glock) match for the same free service. GSSF schedule at www.gssfonline.com

Exactly, or do it yourself, it's pretty easy to buy parts and replace if necessary. It's good to know how to also.
Buy the PTOOMA Glock Book http://www.ptooma.com/products.asp?Prod=Book

Personally, from what I can see on a easy take down... look down the barrel and be sure that looks good... that is 90% of any gun.
A Glock Armor can totally take it down to it's basic parts and be sure all the internal springs and other parts look good, and replace any parts that do not look good (usually for only a few dollars per part).
Good luck and good shooting... the Glock 26 is an excellent gun.
