What? Me worry?

...and buying a coupla more Glocks! I have my heart set on a Glock 27 for my Jackass rig (I'm sick of carrying my G22 in it!) and an OD Glock 35, as well as a new Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 for my G22 and a Safariland 6280 w/light as well as a Surefire X300 for the G35. :whistling:
I don't know why...:dunno:
PLEASE! Somebody talk me out of selling my rifle!!! :brickwall:

If that's your only rifle I wouldn't sell it. Do you have any handguns?

Who's AR is it? do you have a lot invested in it?
What? Me worry?

It's mine. I have about $1200 in it.
Man, NOW is NOT the time to sell any tactical rifle! Hang on for a few months!
Bad idea with elections coming up!!!
What? Me worry?

Bad idea with elections coming up!!!
Yeah...that's the main reason I've still got it.
I dunno guys...
I like it and all...I just...well...I think I would get better use from more Glocks than this AR-15. I mean...I've wanted one since I was a kid, but now that I have one, it's kinda like...:sigh:
Remember when we were kids, and the cool thing to do was go out and buy beer while you were underage? Then, when you finally turn 21, you buy your first LEGAL beer, and it's not any fun anymore?
Does that make any sense? :dunno:

I would keep the AR. It would be easier to get a glock after the election than an AR! What do you have a colt or bushmaster?
Dude, is that your only rifle? If so, NO, DO NOT GET RID OF IT!!! Every adult American male that legally can should have a rifle. That's not just hollow tradition, it's an important weapon to have.
I know, you might get more "use" out of pistols, I know, I do too. But if the SHTF you'll be wishing you had that rifle, trust me!
Get out there and shoot the thing some more, maintain profficency, enjoy it.
DO NOT GET RID OF IT!

Personally, I would wait a few months and see how the November elections pan out:whistling:.
I am glad you took Habu's advise. Find a place that has lay-away, and get what you want. Don't sell the AR.

Glad to see that sanity has returned!
The only reason you should ever sell an AR is to fund the purchase of another AR.
You may also sell handguns to fund ARs, but selling an AR for handguns will land you right into firearm purgatory. :steamed:

I say sell the DPMS........and get a Colt.
Don't sell!!! Your lucky you have one, who know's what could happen in a year or so. Stock up on ammo too.

I had thought about selling my RRA LAR-15 because I bought a Norinco AK on the same caliber.
I DID NOT sell the RRA LAR-15!!!!!
Dude - use a credit card or put the guns on layaway - but please DO NOT sell your AR so you can get a couple pistols!
TGG...loves his rifles!!!

Now is not the time to be selling black rifles, unless you're an FFL dealer!
Like I'm one to talk, but keep it! I just picked up an AK, and I'm selling a couple of other pistols to get back my G19 I traded for it! I loved that 19, but I couldn't resist the AK. Now I want to stock up on mags & ammo while I can.
Most folks that sell perfectly good firearms later regret it. I have a policy of keeping every firearm I purchase permanently. If I buy one in the future that hurts my shoulder or my hand every time I shoot it or something I may sell it. Otherwise they will be handed down to my children with instructions to keep and hand down to theirs.

The last thing you need to do right now is sell an AR.

Don't sell it, if you have one Glock, you have them all!
Leave it to a relative in your will. Cold Dead Hands for mine...

Awesome thread for me! I'm in the same boat. I wanted an AR so badly and about 3 years ago my wife bought me one for my b-day. Spent about 6 months getting it dressed up and tuned and tack-driving. Oiled her up, put it away, and haven't looked at it since...was thinking about getting rid of mine towards a nice Les Baer of Wilson Combat...but that election is keeping me from acting on it...looking forward to reading a few more comments to keep me from doing something silly!

Or a Noveske. I have one on the way to go along with my DPMS and RRA Tact Entry. I would keep the DPMS and buy ANOTHER AR. As previously stated, pistols will be much easier to get should any type of ban be instituted. Look at it this way, Glocks have been around the same price for a while, but ARs keep going up in value.

Don't do it man, you may never get another chance to buy another AR-15. :faint:

I wouldn't buy a truckload of AK's or SKS's for 15 cents a pound. :whistling:

Sell your AR? Dude, I live in California, gun owners would give their right nut for an AR, no, don't get rid of it. Tactical rifles are the first thing anti-gunners want to go after and when the **** hits the fan, a tactical rifle should be the first rifle in your hands, not a handgun.

I agree completely!!
The question is....which one do I grab?:whistling:
