View Full Version : 1st generation Glock 17?
Let me start by saying that I am by no means a Glock expert. I don't even play one on TV. But I know someone who is selling what they claim to be a Glock 17 1st generation. Now the question how can I tell it is 1st gen, and not 2nd gen? What are the differences?:dunno: Thanks
1st gen will be just kind of a pebble grain all around the grip, the 2nd gen will have the checkered front and backstrap...it would look almost like a current one without the finger grooves. If you can get a deal on a nice 1st gen, jump on it! I'd love to have one!

yea look at the prefix, and then go to the link or call Glock to see when it was made. also, be sure to check the internals as well to see if the 92' upgrade kit was installed. cheers and good luck:cool:
