Can you "cold blue" a glock slide? Just got a used G26, low mileage, but some holster wear on the slide, runs good, just needs a little dressing up. If not "cold blue" is there any other DIY refinish for the slide? Thanks

Holster wear? By "uesd" you mean the G26 has the older matt finish rather than the newer semi-gloss finish (I've been told it's only a variation of regular latex exterior house paint)? If it's the semi-gloss finish just rub the gun down with a silicone or oil wipe. If it's the matt finish, no simple solution.
IMHO a little holster wear gives a gun character. What good are hand tools if they always look brand new?

I definitely don't think I'd use cold blue, but I've seen folks that have had good results with Duracoat or Gun-kote.
