We don't have a lot of information on the accident other than it occurred at the corner of Skyline and Foothill roads in Ventura and that no one was hurt. But we figure the pictures kind of speak for themselves.

submarined it

I can't imagine the speed he would've been going in order to get enough power to get under the other car w/out damaging the rear ends. Weird.

My first thought was, will the insurance company total the vette? Or try to fix it???

I bet there isn't that much damage to the Benz.....but insurance adjusters
in the area must be waiting for their phones to ring right about now.

I know what you mean, damn, but there is some damage, last picture shows trunks poped, and rear qt damage. Also some to the bottom of the bumper, but still... impressive.

Very impressed at the way the vette held together as well

vette driver was probably hard on the brakes, causing the front of the car to squat even lower than the normal front bumper height of a c6 corvette....and under the benz we go before they could get it whoa'ed down. I dont think they were going too fast. The damage doesnt look that bad :dunno:

Happened to an engineer I worked with, they were on I75, both cars slammed on the brakes and nose dived, the car in front of his was smaller and lighter and had better brakes; he flipped her like turning a pancake. The cars ended up nose to nose, only hers was on its roof. No one was hurt in the accident, but when her husband arrived he almost got pounded.

Firstly, vehicular accidents are always frightening because of the risk, and I am very thankful that no one one was hurt. The well-being of the passengers is the primary concern.

That said...
