I have 2 .rar files (folders) that contain MP3's but OS X doesn't have a default application for opening such a file and so I'm S.O.L. for now.

Anyone?

This version should solve your dilemma.

How about an .exe file. We have tried parellels (sp?) and everything:steamed:

Success! I just downloaded Stufflt Expander 12.1 (free) and those .rar folders opened right up! :woohoo:

I had some problems using stuffit so I removed it from my machine and in it's place installed UnRarx which has worked PERFECTLY.

This is the open source application for decompressing .RAR files

I use it for both Linux and Windows.

unrarX is a free, open source un-raring application.

It works great. If you have stuffit expander, it will also extract rar files. Stuffit doesn't always work as well as unrarx though.

Have you used stuffit 13.0? I think it's suppose to be the latetest verison and supports a big selection.
