I finally got a Nagant Revolver today. Looking at this thing I've come to realize a few things about it.

If you think your Hi-Point is ugly. Get a Nagant.

If you think the trigger on your Sigma is heavy. Get a Nagant.

If you think the sights on your GI 1911 are small. Get a Nagant.

If you think your SAA is slow to reload. Get a Nagant.

JUST KIDDING!!

It's actually a pretty interesting revolver. I might have to get some ammo for it now and shoot it.

They have their issues.

They ARE very accurate, however.

By far the coolest gun in my collection!

I plan on getting at least three more very soon.

I have also shot .32 S&W long and .32 H&R mag in mine.. the H&R cases bulged more than I like to see. S&W long shot great.

If you want a accurate like new, heavy trigger 7 shot .32mag revolver for $79, get a Nagant. If you want a smooth $900 6 shot .357 revolver, get a Python.

I just got back from the range with my Nagant revolver. For the first time, I posted a silhouette target and rapid double action fired at it from 7 yds. WOW! :wow: I put all 7 shots into the white FBI silhouette. And that was with both eyes open! I did it 3 more times just to be sure it wasn't a fluke. Then I took my G17 with 10 rounds in the magazine and did the same thing. Most of those shots went to the left and missed the center silhouette.

It really got me thinking about the saying "a hit with a 9mm is better than a miss with a .45". Except in this case it's "a hit with a 7,62mm is better than a miss with a 9mm".

FYI, I was using Fiocchi 7,62 Nagant (7,62x38R) ammunition.

Is there any surplus ammo actually available out there for this pistol as every where I seem to check only sells the new ammo and it is about $25 a box for 50.. also is the bullet comparable to a 38 ?
Thanks for the info.

Somewhere out there is a .32 ACP conversion cylinder for the Tok revolver. Costs as much as the gun does, but if you want to shoot it often, and especially if you have several of them,..

I want a Tok to go with my Mosin Nagant rifle collection, for display

The true surplus military ammo for these is rare and expensive. There is Russian made target ammo for these but they have they same power as a red rider BB gun. A lot of people do shoot .32 S&W Longs and .32 H&R Magnums in their Nagant revolvers but I'm a firm believer in shooting the ammunition that the gun was designed for. And anybody shooting 7.62x25 Tokarov ammo in a Nagant revolver, regardless if the cylinder holds them, is insane! That round has way more pressure than the Nagant (designed in 1895) was ever meant to shoot.

With all the repros made, you would think someone would remake the Webley in .45 ACP. If it were a quality weapon I would buy one
