I'd like to get a Sig pistol. Doesn't really matter what size/caliber. Just can't be a .22lr. (Mosquito).

CDNN has the P225 listed but no price. Anyone know what they are going for?

Any place have Sigs cheaper?

Thanks!

My CDNN catalog shows 'em at $330.00. As for cheaper Sigs, just buy a Glock. Easier that way.

Oh I have a half-dozen Glocks already. I figure the P225 is a good way to re-introduce myself to the feel and trigger of the Sig. It's totally different from the Glock IMO.

Seems like everyone that had them for $270-$280 is "out of stock" and has them on "backorder". Lord knows when they'll get more! Everyone that still has them is charging $325-ish.

Thanks!

Word from around the gun forums, we have reached the bottom of the barrel.

Prices will start to rise if demand stays high.

Dealers will start to inch up the prices and offer one mag only.

CDNN $329 for a hand select, got one from them the barrel doesn't even have smiles on it. Looks new no wear on it at all. 8/79 born on date.

With the P225 you are guaranteed not to have to worry whether or not the gun will feed hollowpoints. The same can't be said about the P6. I'd buy the P6 if it were dirt cheap and slap a P225 barrel on it, or take it to a knowledgeable smith and let him/her do a ramp & throat job to the stock barrel. But if the guns were available and in the same price range, I'd take the P225 and save the hassles.

We (work guys) bought 10 from Centerfire at $249 and had to wait about a month but they were all pretty nice. Great deal for a quality gun!

Who actually has them IN STOCK??

Also, it was mentioned we are reaching the bottom of the barrel (in terms of supply I'm guessing)...so if not in stock, what expectation is there of getting more?

Thanks!:)

Hmm...that was mentioned before...then someone mentioned that they had to wait a while till another shipment came in.

So now I'm wondering if there'lll be another shipment?...If not, why?

Thanks!

But aren't the german's currently using them??

I mean I'm not paying more than $350 for one. I'll just pay another hundred and have a modern used Sig.

Thanks!

I have two and they are AWESOME!!!!

They have some holster wear but that is par for the course for the P6 (P225). I just bought a couple ProMags for them and also an original German shoulder holster for each (from J&G). You will not regret buying a P6!!!!

They ROCK!!!

How much did you pay?

J&G along with EVERY other store on the net...is out of them...I can get one privately on gunbroker for around $400 after shipping and dealer fees...

Thanks!

I bought one from Centerfire Systems for $260 and the other from AIM for $270 (shipping and dealer fees were extra). Both places are accepting backorders for the next shipment.

They are worth the wait!!!!

My favorite of the two came from Centerfire!

I might be wrong (big surprise there), but I believe that the German state police agencies are going to the HK P30 pretty much across the board. It's a big change for them in a philosophical sense, as it's the first time that they're issuing high cap 9mms in big numbers. And apparently making the decision in a unified way, rather than on a state-by-state basis.

Side note is that the French have gone with the Sig P2022 for their national police in ginormous numbers.

GB is a ripoff!

Place a backorder with the online gunshop of your choice and just be patient.

Good luck and take care.

I called up centerfire. They have the best deal going. It's $295 or so SHIPPED for a gun with two mags and a holster. I don't think you get the case but I don't have room for any more anyways...I might chip in the extra $10 for a handpicked...best of 10 I believe.

Either way that's one hell of a deal for a Sig. Even WITH shipping and dealer fee it'll be under $325 for me...

I think I'll call em up tomorrow.

Thanks!
