You know, I sold two G30s. I got them because I wanted a .45 ACP. I sold them because they didn't feel right. I got my G30SF the other day and had a chance to take it to the range. Wow. What a difference a couple of millimeters make. It really is comfortable and easy to shoot. I'm putting it on my first to carry list with my G26 as the only option. I love it. If you've tried a Glock .45 before and didn't like it, try one of the short framed models. They are really great. Just gotta say it.

Man, I couldn't agree more! I just picked up my G30SF last week. The SF grip really does make a difference IMHO. I have handled the G21 and although it was OK, the grip just felt too big for my "small" hands. The G30SF feels so comfortable, not much recoil, accurate...well you know... a GLOCK! Congrats to you, I feel your excitement.
Glad it works for ya. G30 and G26 are my two carry weapons now.
I wanted a G30SF, but one was not available at the time, and the G30 was. I felt both in my hands and did not feel much of a difference. I went ahead with the G30, opting not to wait for the G30SF to become available. I really like my G30 now, but thinking maybe I should try the G30SF.

The G30SF is a sweet shooter. At 15 yards I'm grouping almost the same as with my 21SF, besides I can use the mags.
Great choice!
