View Full Version : New to me - used 30
Bought a used 3G 30 yesterday that looked brand new. I wanted a Glock in 45 and the 30 continued to get favorable remarks. The week before at the range the owner, who carries H&K, said the 30 was a good shooter.
Well it's true! Went straight from the gun store to the range. Man! this really is a nice shooter. Once I settled down I even impressed myself how well I was shooting this thing @ 10 yds,.
I have no problem with the grip size. Trigger pull out of the box was very good. No adjustments or mods necessary. I'll add night sights later.
Thanks to all for their feedback on the 30, I'm very pleased with my new 'tool'

I have the 30SF. Your are absolutely correct. The G30's are extremely accurate and soft shooting. Like you, I bought mine based on people raving about them here on GlockTalk. Unfortunately, living in NJ does not offer me the ability to go to a store and try before I buy. Luckily, the G30 did not dissapoint me in the slightest bit.
All in all, the G30 is a compact package with alot of firepower, in a serious caliber.
Good luck with yours!
Congrats on your purchase, glad your satisfied.

Great choice, I just got a G30SF for carry and as a second home defense gun and it is a sweet shooter. I am shooting with almost the same accuracy as my G21SF at 15 -20 yds! That gun pack a hell of a punch for its size! 10+1 rounds of .45 is more than most full sized guns (other than Glock).

Your experience mirrors my own, I bought a G30 recently and found it to be the most accurate handgun (in any caliber) that I've shot. It also shows all signs of being reliable (no malfunctions whatsoever) and - for me- a natural pointer. Congrats. :wavey:
