The Colt that got away

This is my most recent piece for Buckeye Firearms. A little different than the political and gun rights pieces I have done in the past. This is about the 1911 pistol that got me interested in military firearms and the man who brought it home after the Punitive Expedition in Mexico, my great grandfather's youngest brother. I hope you will enjoy this piece as I have stewed on it for thirty years.
