Loading 15 round magazines isn't that bad... just worried about long term damage to feedlips of the magazines. I've been told that MagLULAs don't stress the feedlips a bit, and that they're much faster to load with.

Not sure if this is the exact same item...but I bought the UpLULA universal loader and I have been very impressed with this. I use it on both my 9mm and 45's and it works great (no sore thumbs either).
I use mine for my Sigs, my G26, my Taurus PT-92 - all my pistols that have over 6 or 7 rds :) It loads the 9mm, .40S&W and .45 ACP easily. Love mine!!

Quick question. I know that when you get a glock NIB, it comes with some sort of mag loader. Is it worth getting a UPLula with one of those? (I'm not even sure how that factory glock mag loader works)

Night and Day... get the Uplula
They are worth their weight in gold. I was hesitant to order one because I'm a little thrifty (cheap). I should have ordered one a looooong time ago.

The pistol maglula's are nice. I had one used it a few times and gave it to my friend. I just load faster with my fingers and left the loader alone 99% of the time.

Rounds just drop into the mag so easily. Love my Lula. But it did jam once though in the "squeeze" position. I had to pry it open with a small screw driver. I still couldn't see why it did it, since there was nothing hanging up. It only happended once and has worked perfectly for hundreds of rounds since then.
My first purchase after shooting a 1911 in single stack div was an Uplula.
I won't have sore fingers again!

Today I spent $26 to buy a spare UpLULA in case I lose my primary UpLULA.
Yeah, they're that good.

There is a small lip on the front left hand side, if the lula is facing you. If you squeeze the lula together and then push down on the lip it will lock it in the closed position. I don't know why they have this "feature". If you accidentally push it down, just squeeze the lula and pull up on the lip.
I have one, but tend not to use it.
It works really well, but I end up loading my mags in the seat of my pickup.
If I went to a range that had shooting tables I'd use it more often.
Out here in the boonies we just shoot into dirt banks in pastures or anywhere else that's safe.

+1 Money well-spent.
I've had a LULA for my AR-15 for some time, but I had avoided getting the universal pistol mag version because I didn't want to seem like a girly-man (at least, not any more than I already do ). Well, my machismo went right out the window when I got my Glock 29 and loaded those compact mags for the first time. :wow: Holy crap! That 10th round is a beast, especially when you're shooting 200+ rounds in a session. To make a long story short, I finally decided that the LULA might not be so "girly" after all, and heck, it works for all my other calibers, too! A definite +1 from this sissy!

My wife asked me yesterday what she can get me for Christmas and I sent her the link to the UpLula. Cant wait to try it out.

Might have been because of the lock bar on the side. At least that is why the same thing happened to mee. There is an up and down lever that will lock it closed for easier carry and sometimes I bump it.
Love mine - last weekend at the range just to give it a good test did everything from 90's to 357 to 40, 45's 380 etc. I agree with several others, after you buy the gun, get the loader. I have ones that came with glocks, XD's and a few other that sell out there. Nothing is in the same class.
Best 3 purchases I ever made one each for AR15, AK, and the last for the pistol.
It had to be good the Israeli's invented it for the IDF.

They are great.
Well worth the price. They work on just about any different magazine. I think there is about 6 or 8 that it will not work with. Everyone that has tried mine, ended up buying one.
I have several, one for my house, and one for my range bag. Anyone that does a lot of shooting should have one of theses. It takes about 30 seconds to figure it out, and then you can load magazines quickly, without any pain. It is great for new, or hard to load magazines.
Buy one, you will not regret it.

+1,000,000.
The UPLula loads single stack 9mm Smith and Wesson mags, 9mm FNp-9 (which is one stiff spring), Glock mags, everything I've tried so far.
Could I live without it? Sure.
If I lost it, would I buy another one? As soon as I could get to a computer.

Saw a video on You Tube next time I go to the Range I'm gonna pick one up then I think I will give my HKS Speedloader to my little grashopper.
