No. You use the ones that should have come in the packs with your Pearce mag extensions. I put my original Glock piece in the little Pearce package and put it in the drawer with my other gun stuff in case I ever need it.

See, i had a pearce +1 extenion, and it had a different looking insert.. Well I sold it and was going to buy all pearce +0.. And when I got the +0's in the mail today, they didnt come with any inserts, soooo....I guess I got screwed.

Yes. The Pearce +0 do not come with inserts. You must put them back in or the extension will not lock into place. You place them back in to line up with the hole as they do with the factory plates. I have bought 4 for my 26 mags and all nib and they do not come with other inserts. That may change with +2 extensions and I would assume the 27 is the same as the 26.

+0's work with the factory inserts. The only thing you're replacing is the mag base itself.

didn't really want to start a new thread for this question, but what's the deal with Pearce claiming that you can add +3 with the mag extension? My G19 mags w/ the extensions hold 17 rounds very tightly. I couldn't even try to force 18 rounds.

There are even some +4 extensions out there. I am not sure if they are made by Glock, Pearce, or someone else. I saw one at my local dealer.

The OP was asking about a Pearce PG26 which is +0.

I assume you are asking about the PG39 ? If not, which one?

http://www.pearcegrip.com/glock27.htm

I'm not aware of any other Pearce extension that claims +3.

That one claims to add +3 to a 10 round G26 mag. I'd expect it to be tight and require the spring to "break in".

If that's the one to which you refer, does Pearce claim it adds 3 9mm rounds to a G19 mag?

It said "Adds +1 to .45 ACP, +2 to .40 S+W and .357 Sig, and +3 to all 9mm Magazines.

So is it a PG39 ?

Regardless, my advice would be happy with +2 if you like the way it fits your hand. The spring will likely loosen up with use.
