I absolutely LOVE my G34!

Has anybody heard so much as a whisper about Glock making a similar pistol in .45 acp?

I'm not trying to start any rumors. I'm just wondering what, if anything, you've heard and how you feel about the idea...

I doubt it. There's less than 1/2 inch difference in OAL. Glock will not be making any more new model pistols longer than the OAL of a G34/G35. If you want a tactical .45acp, add an extended slide stop lever and an aftermarket extended magazine release to a G21. Bingo, the Glock of your dreams.

Lone Wolf, theoretically, is working on a slide for such a thing in .45 and 10mm. It's waaaaay overdue. I like the company and will say that they make good stuff, but I'll believe the in their long 10mm and .45 slides when I see them.

I would love a tactical .45 ACP. Aftermarket is one thing but its another to get it all from the factory.

at one time i really want one but it'd never be a popular gun in competition where PF is a consideration. the g35 in .40 make major and has the advantage of more magazine capacity.

It would be nice if Glock made a longslide G21.

I'm guessing a G21L would be pretty "barrel heavy", based on the G17L I once held. Still, I'd love to see them make both an extended slide version, along G34 lines, and a truly long barrel version. It would be nice if they reduced the grip size beyond what they did for the SF version...
