View Full Version : G23 Tinkering
I like to tinker with stuff and my glock is now on the table for tweaking. I would like to hear from other what they have done to there glocks that either improved it in some manner or after they did it they totaly hated it.
Also what is the best method to use to go about polishing the barrel?

I would forget about the barrel and just polish out all your moving/contact areas on the trigger bar, connector, firing pin safety, and firing pin leg with some flitz and a cotton buffing wheel on a dremel at low speed. This should improve the smoothness of your trigger pull. The only part of the barrel I polished was the feed ramp, and it didn't really need that, but I had everything out.

IT'S ON CUZZZZ
Bust out that dremel
I polished my barrel using my bench grinder with a polishing wheel and buffing compounds purchased for a few bucks at Lowe's. I didnt even take the finish off the barrell with chemicals or sanding. Just took it right off with the compounds and the wheel. Just be sure to use the compounds liberally as it makes it very easy. I gave the finished product an A+ mirror finish. I'm a DIY'er too. This was very satisfying.
BTW, no tool collection is complete without a bench grinder.
