So after 4 months of owning my first pistol ( Glock 19 ) I'm seeing a huge improvement. This was @ 15 yards today at the range with 100 rounds. The amount of shots missing the black are becoming less and less everytime I go out. I think all the dry firing really makes a difference since you can see how well the front sight stays put after your trigger pull.

Practice makes perfect!! You might want to try a few different grip methods and how your arms are extended. When I started, I used to use a hold where my elbows weren't all the way locked and I didn't "strangle" the gun, holding it tight. A time or two, I tried that, and it was great for rapid fire..but hurt my slow fire, accuracy/called shots. Last week, I had a HORRIBLE day at the range. Everything I fired was crap. A day later, under the advice of a good friend/fellow shooter, I went back to my original grip method and really concentrated...bingo! Everything went where I aimed.

Good luck, and good to hear you're improving all the while!

Yea I first started out with my arms locked but it wasn't comfortable so now I keep my arms relaxed and I'm much more consistent.

For faster (positive) results, try shooting into a single hole at 10ft.

Once you've accomplished that, go out 2-4ft, then keep going out a few more feet.

Yea the only problem is the pistol section at my nearest range has a minimum distance of 15 yards. Sucks when you want to try those up close and personal shots.
