Is it against the rules to mention that alcohol and guns do not mix?

I suppose it is. My thread here gets locked for no apparent reason, other than it raises the question of shooting while drinking.

I can appreciate that others may disagree and think it's ok to shoot while drinking, but can the subject not even be discussed?
