Is it hard to install a extractor in the slide? I've had my pistol for 5 years now, I can field strip and remove fire pin assembly and ressemble. (got most of my knowledge on you Tube) I have a broken extractor. Where is the best place to obtain one?

www.lonewolfdist.com is a good source. Just order exactly what you have in your pistol. If you upgrade to a LCI extractor you must also change the spring loaded bearing.

Lone Wolf shows 2 extractors listed for my pistol how can I be sure which one I need?

If your pistol is fitted with a Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI) extractor, you need part #GLO-6740. If not, you need part # GLO-1902, the regular 15/5 extractor for .40 caliber. Lone Wolf is presently out of the 1902's but Glockmeister may have them.

The LCI (Loaded Chamber Indicator) type of extractor tilts the extractor out at the back so you can visually determine or in the dark feel if there is a round in the chamber.

If you remove your slide cover you will see the extractor depresser plunger and plastic spring loaded bearing assembly to the right of the fireing pin assembly. Remove both assemblies. Push down on the fireing pin safety and remove the extractor. To install the new extractor, push down on the fireing pin safety and slip the extractor into place.
