View Full Version : Nikon D90 for first DSLR?
I was iunto digital photography before most people, but I still haven't gotten a good SLR. I love having Mpeg capability with my pocket Canons, and I know I'd miss it on an SLR.
The D90 seem to be a really nice camera, and it has the movie capabililty.
Anybody have one yet?
Do you have an older SLR? If so, do you want to keep your glass?
If not, I know nothing about Nikons so I will shut up now.
Just a basic 35mm - 70mm ( I think) on an old low-end Nikon film camera I purchased shortly before the digital age.
Nothing that would push me into one brand or another. The Nikon D90 is the only one I'm aware of that features the movie capability, as well as it being a nice camera otherwise.
It has gotten good reviews so far.
I can't wrap my mind around the movie feature though.
Here is the full review for the D90
The new canon 5d has movie capability 1080p up to 12 minutes, VGA up to 24 mins per clip and a full frame sensor all for around $2700 (body only)
