Anyone else watching it? I am a HUGE fan of the Caribbean and a big foodie so I am loving this. Alton Brown also knows everything about everything so its pretty interesting.



ETA, I just watched them turn away as the guy slid the machete into the lobster, is America really that weak that we can't stomach seeing the death of a bug?

Oh, didn't realize it was on already. We watch Alton all the time. Was kinda disappointed with the Feasting on Asphalt, though, because it seemed a bit too ... commercial? Was a bit surprised at some of the places they stopped.

I'll see if we set it up to record, though.

Very good show. It was rather interesting seeing their cuisine. Anyone else see the pomegranate episode of good eats? He had an M67 frag on the show, it was rather amusing.

Kinda tough to be commercial in the Caribbean. I mean one on part of the show they showed a lady who was taking off the shelf rum (they blurred the label) adding some syrup and various fruits and flowers and then reselling them. They highlighted some local brands but nothing I could even find online to ship here to the states.
