anyone have a dell dimension?

I'm trying to talk someone through installing a network card over the phone. So far I haven't had any luck talking them through removing the cover.

I assume it comes off the left side just like every other machien I've ever seen. He says there's no screws in the back of it. Does the front panel pop off? Does the side just slide? Any latches?

Tell them to simply lift the panel "up" abit in the back and then just slide the panel off towards the rear of the tower.

This is correct. There are little hooks built into the side panels and it won't slide off unless you move the panel up about 1/8" first. The hooks are at the front end of the side panels.
